The Farm at South Mountain
The Farm at South Mountain is one of my favorite places in the area. I hadn't been there in over a year, and since the weather was perfect this past weekend my friend and I decided to go. This place has the freshest ingredients and most of the herbs are grow on site! It's so beautiful there as well, if you bring a blanket you can have a picnic which we did. The Farm serves delicious sandwiches, fresh soups, seasonal salads and made-from-scratch baked goods. There cupcakes are the best! The weather is so perfect lately you all sould go try out the farm!!

sushi
My sisters bridal shower was this past weekend and me and my other sister asked what kind of food she wanted to have there and she picked sushi. So technically I did not go out to eat but we had the party catered and it was good well if you like sushi. The place is called Zen 32 and I think they just started catering. Although I only eat the rolls I did try on real fish thing (not sure what its called) and everyone raved about how good it was i did not like it. The cool thing was he brought everything fresh in coolers and made it right in front of us. Pretty fun thing to have at a bridal shower, but I think I'm more of a veggie tray and chips and dip kind of girl.

Salsita Mexican Food!
I'm from Yuma, which is basically 5 minutes from Mexico, so I'm used to good Mexican food. (Oh and Filibertos is not mexican food, i'm not sure what it is) I've been to a few places in phx. and nothing comes close to all the places in my hometown. We tried this place in downtown mesa, called Salsita Mexican Food and it was actually pretty good. Definitely not that great, but I think its as good as your going to find here in phx. Has somewhat of an authentic taste to it! I had a chicken enchilada which was pretty good, and a chicken taco that wasn't wasnt very good. I think I might just save my Mexican cravings for when I go back home for visits to my parents!

Four Peaks!
I hope everyone that is 21 and goes to ASU has been to Four Peaks. First of all its actually a brewery and its like a block away from campus. How perfect is that?! They even started the award-winning kilt lifter. They have so many really good beers to try and good greasy food to go along with it. My friend Caitie was in town from U of A so I wanted to take her to a popular ASU hangout. We had a beer sampler where they bring you four probably 4oz samples of different beers so you can try a variety. To eat we had the grilled chicken beer bread wrap. It's huge so we split it; and its filled with mushroom cheese, bell peppers and artichoke hearts. Its really really good! So I suggest anyone you hasn't yet been there has to go! However, they are really strict on I.D. and I have seen them take away dozens...so make sure your 21 or have a really good fake!
